Shading miniature models

This waterborne shade adds depth through panel lining, inking and subtle shadow effects. The shade range includes Black, Brown, Blue and Purple.

Application and formulation

• Pre-thinned for use directly from the bottle.
• Additional water can adjust consistency.
• Use over fully dried base paint; never mix with Acrysion base colours.

These specially developed Aqueous Hobby Color-based shades have a different formulation from Acrysion.

Companion base colours — separate products

The Acrysion-derived base range improves brush flow and coverage. Its low-odour, water-soluble emulsion suits beginners and family painting. Base colours support brushes or airbrushes, Acrysion colour mixing, water thinning and Acrysion Retarder for extended working time.
