Materials are of great quality - even the little pieces don’t chip easily, colours are crisp, paper pieces aren’t flimsy and didn’t come wrinkled. Such a fun build! Will get the other steam-themed pieces.

I have made several other wooden building kits and found this one a bit different. The pieces are smaller and wooden pieces much thinner. I needed to be far more careful with the parts as they can break more easily if you do not take care. Glueing on the coloured building surfaces did take time, but once I got used to it, was not too difficult.
The finished castle looks lovely and I really enjoyed making it.

This is the largest piece kit that I have completed so far. I was excited to order this kit and it hasn't disappointed. Amazing when finished, I love it. It did take me longer than mentioned in the instructions but I took my time to make sure I didn't have to back track any where. The instructions were easy to follow. It was a great process to see it grow, pieces fitted so well and though this is my first kit that had some 'glue' work to it, though fiddly at times, it was easily achieved. Looks so cool with the lights on. If you love the look of this one, I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed. Onto my next project :)

This is a superbly crafted model that goes together beautifully. With very precise parts, this model is relatively advanced for the average modeller. It requires time and fastidiousness to complete to a high standard, but the result will be well worth the effort. It well and truly exceeds my expectation.
