Premium Bandai has finally open the pre-order site for the Gundam Lfrith Anavata. This Gundam first appeared in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury - Vanadis Heart.
Featuring newly molded parts, the High Grade Gundam Lfrith Anavata is also completed with a clear blue electric discharge effect part that can be attached to its palm and sword to portray a weapon throw action. Another set of effect parts are also provided for its swords. Its backpack is also equipped with a pair of beam gun and is equipped with ball joint for extended articulation.
The Witch from Mercury "P-Bandai" high grade model kit is a great example of a simple, yet effective Gunpla. The new moulds, joints and construction of TWfM kits are a breeze to complete and make the building experience much smoother than that of older kits. Once finished, the Anavata is a simple silhouette, but holds a great level of panel lines and angles that give it a unique look, especially when paired with it's duel swords and "throwing" gimmick. The included stand for the lightning effect that clips into the sword and hand is welcome and compliments the kit well. Overall this kit is a great addition to my collection and stands out as a striking and highly poseable model!
